Do you want to spend more than a couple of hours learning to inject BOTOX® and Dermal Fillers? Do you feel that you need more time to learn the theory of said aesthetics?
Typically, aesthetic courses consist of one day's training where you, the delegate, learn the theory in the morning and inject throughout the afternoon. However, the majority of medical professionals feel that they need more practical experience after attending a one day course. Cosmetica Training believe that there are two elements to becoming a safe and competent injector: a thorough understanding of the theoretical aspects of injecting and plenty of practical experience to develop the techniques.
Over the past six months we have therefore developed a new and unique approach to aesthetic training, in the form of e-learning. This allows delegates to learn the theory at a pace that suits them before attending one of the many practical sessions held every month.
How does e-learning work?
You will receive an extensive resource pack which you will use to study at home. The pack consists of written and CD based material along with suggested reading and video demonstrations of our tutors injecting. Upon completion of the theory you attend the practical part of your course and will spend time with the tutor injecting after completion of your exam.
How many hours study will I need to do?
The Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Filler video presentations cover the theoretical aspects of injectables which allow you to study at your own pace and around your work or family commitments. You can review each individual topic, ranging from pharmacology to legal requirements of injecting, as many times as necessary until you have a thorough understanding.
What happens if I have questions?
Even though the theory is studied at home, the tutors are available to answer any questions and offer support to each and every delegate. Any questions you may have can be submitted via email, where one of the tutors will reply within 24 hours. If required telephone support can be available to you also.
How does the practical session work?
You choose how many days practical training you wish to undertake and you will spend these sessions injecting models under tutor supervision. We run single or two day injecting sessions. If you wish to book more hours of practice please contact us for a bespoke quote. Both of these options include the same video presentation and full support from our industry-leading tutors.
How many models will I inject?
You will inject more models on this course than you would on any other course offered by other training companies. Our recommendations are that each delegate provides a minimum of one model, which allows the injector to begin building a portfolio of before and after photos. In addition, we also supply models, ensuring that there is always a high model to delegate ratio on all of our courses.
